At the til, I mentioned the item was $2 cheaper across the street at Walmart - & he immediately processed it & gave me back $2 in change!!! I was very impressed!
Staff were super helpful when we had to return a defective rooftop cargo carrier we had picked up at another store. I believe the managers name was Brad, and the sales associate was Saif (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) . Anyways they were all super accommodating! Wish the ones out in bc were as good.
Love Canadian tire. This store isn't the biggest like some other stores but still carries the key items they advertise. If you are looking for some more decorating items or smaller items then you may need to go to a bigger store for that. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is easy to get in and out of. Especially with an RV.
As a hardware store; it's rare to not find what you need. Every isle and row is PACKED with stuff. So much that it's nearly impossible to wheel a cart around. Staff aren't terribly helpful or likely to ask if you need a hand. The automotive center is absolutely horrible. The people behind the counter either have no idea how to run their computer systems or are trying to ensure that Canadian Tire doesn't sell any automotive parts. I understand that you may not always have Journeyman Mechanic looking up requested parts but it's not unreasonable to expect a basic understanding of a vehicle and it's simplest components. You are literally better off asking someone running the cash register, they seem to be way more interested in ensuring this store stays around.
Typical CT, with whole section devoted to hunting, fishing, camping. Driving in from south fine, but from north, and leaving, must go behind store, local knowledge important here. Sportchek, Marks, and a not yet open Starbucks share same parking lot.
