I recently went with my gf to look at apartments the leasing agent you could barely understand and was very rude not racist at all but only seen one white working employee. We check out many place the cleaning lady was very friendly and held door open and the building smelt and looked good an clean but due to the lack of knowledge and language barrier with the leasing lady we decided to rent else wheres it would be nice to see humans you can actually understand
I June Murray have lived at 660 Robert street east swift current Sask, an Avenue Living apartment block, for 22 years. I came to live here to care for my elderly mother; she lived across the hall from me. She lived here for about ten years. I have met many friendly people here who have made my life more enjoyable. Some became very dear friends. I enjoy living in this Avenue Living apt. Because it is close to many fast food outlets and has great amenities. It is close to a bus stop too. I especially appreciate Krystal Hilts our lovely Manager who is so very thoughtful and efficient.
If you would like to pay circa CAD 1200 a month for a rickety house built in the 1960's - 1970's, and infested with cockroaches, then you would be fine with Avenue Living apartments in Swift Current. Note that your suite will NOT come with a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Car park bays are horrible as well, very tight. This is just a transition apartment and no tenant should stay more than a year living here till they get something better.
In my experience Avenue Living has been great to deal with. My maintenance requests are handled quickly, my neighbours are great, and anytime there have been noise problems the situation was rectified quickly. Living in an apartment can be challenging at times so I feel fortunate to be living in a place where there is a concerted effort to maintain a pleasant living environment.However, if I could offer one suggestion for improvement it would be to do snow removal. I have never lived in an apartment before where the parking lot was never plowed in the winter.
We haven't been living there very long... the parking is horable, the designated parking we have is so tight together we can't get out of our vehicles because of the light post. The naybours above us are up all hours and are very noisy, they run and have loud music and play basketball above us, they also play in the parking lot where they throw there toys and often hit everyone's cars. The loundry Matt is expensive and is often taken making it hard to do loundry, the landlord is very rude, very rude. Not friendly at all, the apartment wasn't in good shape when we first got it. All together not happy
