Only movie theater in Swift, so can't complain too much but the theaters are quite small and the lobby is very cramped. It's hard to get food/drinks if it's really busy. Bathrooms were quite clean but the floors in the theaters themselves were sticky, it's like they hadn't mopped from the night before and just left it to cake on the floor
We watched a theatrical release 3D movie for $9.00 each in this theatre. And for another $18 dollars my wife and I filled up on popcorn, pop, and 2 candy selections. This would have easily been $60+ dollars in a big city cinema. Two movies were playing at the same time and I never heard a sound from the next cinema. The theatre was clean, the staff were friendly and the sound was excellent. We loved the experience of our small city theatre and cant wait to go back!
I did NOT hear sound from the other movie playing. I so enjoyed Mama Mia 2 there. I've seen one movie in Galaxy? Theatre in the Southland Mall in Regina, with their lovely Reclining seats, but they were a lot more expensive to enjoy too!The staff here in Swift Current are very friendly & I wish there were FOUR Cinemas, so I could (hopefully) attend more often!
sadly it is the only theater in Swift Current, could really use a galaxy or Cinaplex. Cinema Twins Sound is sub par, usually hear booming from next door theater if its in a quiet part of the movie, nobody seems to know how to properly set the audio for at loud points in movies the treble almost is trying to make me go crazy! have had multiple times where the video paused and the audio continued, once for 18 mins. When I went back to ask if it was going to be fixed I was told that everyone working there where teenagers that didn't know how to run the projector, and the boss needed to come to fix it. And twice they turned off the movie during marvel movies before we could see the post credit scene.The Food is crazy expensive. SO WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER THEATER.
great place to go and watch movies with friends and family. The great part is that it is right in downtown and has great food for reasonable prices. Tickets are very cheap. 2d costs about $9 and 3d only costs about 12 dollars. It would be great if they could upgrade their seats but the theater is comfortable. Recommend you to check it out!
